The Accademia Italiana's Pyramid

As we have done over the past few years (when Franco Zeffirelli and Carla Fracci were among the honored) the Accademia Italiana awarded its "Pyramid" to several important figures in Italian art and culture.

The pyramid is a transparent sculpture designed by Set Designer Gianni Quaranta inspired by the logo of the Institute.

This year the Pyramid was awarded to:

Gabriella Pescucci, Costume designer (cinema)

Anna Anni, Costume designer (theater)

Ermanno Scervino, fashion designer

Oliviero Toscani, photographer and communicator

Elio Fiorucci, designer and communicator
